Many famous newspapers are writing about a new crisis between the Chinese government and France. The reason for this escalation is that the auction house Christie’s sold 2 works of art, which were robbed from the Chinese imperial palace in 19th century.
The problem is that the previous owners of the two bronze figures, have acquired them legally and under the French law the current owner is the legal owner. Thus, China could not enforce the auction house, to confiscate both characters simply. The Chinese government could not provide enough money to buy these two bronze figures.
However, it is really a difficult question, about the legality of this deal. China still can use the argument that the buyer should be aware, that both works of art were robbed and come to Europe illegally. So if I see this issue from this perspective, then I think that China is the legal owner of those bronze figures.

Tuesday, December 16th, 2008It’s almost tradition. At the end of a year Ukraine and Russia beginning with a new conflict because of transit of gas though Ukraine into EU and price of gas for Ukraine.
I’m would like to try to describe this conflict as I understand it accourding to different news media.
Russia accuses Ukraine that Ukraine did not pay for gas.
Ukraine accuses the joint Russian-Ukrainian company “RosUrkEnergo”, that it is responsible for delay and therefore refuses, to pay fines.
The Ukraine got then a credit to the able to pay for gas for last year and transfer it to RosUkrEnergo, without the fees to be taken into account, since Ukraine does not recognize this.
The company RosUkrEnergo did not transfer the money simply to Gasprm, but they divide the money and tranfer a part of it, in order to pay the fines and the balance were transfered as payment of the debt for the year 2008.
The rest of money is no longer sufficient to pay for the consumption of natural gas for 2008 because RosUkrEnergo used a part of it as a controversial transfer fees.
It seems that Russia used the company RosUrkEnergo to achieve their own purposes. Ukraine is of course recognized the problem a year ago, but Russia is trying to save the position of this company as mediator.. This is also understandable why Russia will try to save a status of RusUkrEnergo, because otherwise Russia would have fewer opportunities, to turn the situation in their own direction.
This all sounds to some one-sided. Therefore, I would like to say that I do not trust both sides 100%. So I try to consider the statements of both parties critical. Of course it could be that my conclusions are wrong, but they seem to me quite logical.
Criminals foreigners
Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008This theme was a taboo for the media for a long time. No one dared to publicly critical about it, because you could be accused that you are a racist. This was the problem for a long time. But when 2 young foreigners attacked a pensioner in Munich and harmed him, concealment of the problem was finally concluded. From now the newspapers and other media feel finally free to report in detail about this issue. But how this problem should be solved? Should we try to change these people? Or simply deport those people? Or maybe we the prison is a solution for the problem? A good question, I think. I believe that the first thing we have to do is to teach these people to respect our country and the people living here. Who does not recognise our values or our country, may no longer live here. That is my opinion. No, seriously, how long should we tolerate people here who are not willing to tolerate our Western culture? I am talking here not about the acceptance. I can understand that some people from another cultural background can’t accept Christianity and some based on it values. If they choose a life in this country they should at least behave respectfully to the people leaving here. Otherwise, they should choose a different place to live.

This art of thinking is very dangerous, because, indirectly, the situation is took as a given one and it is as well tolerated. That is wrong. An ordinary consumer is not able to do anything if the data that was collected by government agencies is lost , as it happened in Britain. The medical cards of an ordinary Lidl-seller was stored without wising about that the employees. But every man can afford to do it more difficult to get the contribution to the personal life for the data-hungry foreign companies, by means of giving as little information as possible. This is done by using social networks on the Web, and similar PayBack Data renounces what is possible.
So people who takes part?!
